The Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) has been established in 2013 in constant aspiration to excellence throughout the healthcare system. It is a non-profit government body that regulates the healthcare practice and medical education in State of Qatar. The Accreditation & Health Profession Education Department is one of 3 pillar departments of the QCHP.
The accreditation department is responsible for the development and implementation of a National Accreditation System for all medical education activities in the state of Qatar, including undergraduate, graduate and continuous medical education/continuous professional development. This is to ensure that governance, operations and activities of medical education meet accepted professional and ethical standards through a well-defined structured accreditation process.
