Manama Theatre Club

The Manama Theatre Club (MTC) is a community of amateur drama enthusiasts hailing from different parts of the world who have a passion for the dramatic arts and enjoy staging fun events throughout the year.

We are based in the Drama Section of the British Club of Bahrain.

We put on a variety of events from full length plays, pantomimes, revues and comedy-dramas, to informal social evenings of skits, improv games, quiz nights and Murder Mysteries.

We hold regular casual drama evenings and workshops, where anyone can just pop in for a drink, grab a script and join the cast on the informal stage or sit back and enjoy watching others attempt to act.

For children, there are occasional Junior Theatre Workshops and the cahnce to audition for the Pantomime!

MTC has a core creative Working Group to plan and organise new productions and events.

We welcome all new drama enthusiasts with or without experience. There is lots to get involved with from acting, directing and producing to costume-sourcing, make up, sound, lights and set construction.
