Let's just get this out right away.

Remember how excited you got as a kid when your favorite band came on the radio? Or how you prayed they'd somehow take a detour and play a show in your hometown? Or how you flipped through the bins looking for some gem of an LP amidst rows of crap?

What happened to that excitement? Never have we had more access to music (TV shows, video games, commercials, ring tones, etc.), yet many people think new music sucks. And sometimes they're right. Maybe there's too much choice and people don't know where to begin. There IS good stuff out there worth listening to (and even adding to your collection).

And THAT is why we're spending some free time to put together a site like this. We want to help you discover some new music; and hopefully, you'll lead us to some new bands, too.
